The Switched Cabinet
Distribution Units (CDU) family combines remote configuration and
management with power distribution, power and environmental monitoring.
Reboot a single or dual-power server with one command and receive
SNMP or email-based
alerts when power or environmental conditions exceed thresholds. Assign
users specific access rights to designated outlets or groups. The
Switched CDU provides the flexibility needed for all data centers
and remote sites, including power requirements for high-amp, high
voltage; UL 60950-1 branch circuit protection; SSL & SSH security;
and SNMP-based input current monitoring.
The Sentry Modular Cabinet Power
Distribution Unit (CDU) family is designed to take a 3-Phase in-feed
and distribute single phase power via Basic Satellite CDUs that can
be placed anywhere in the cabinet. Each Master and Expansion contains
qty (3) LED
amp meters for load balancing, one temperature/humidity probe input,
serial connection, IP connection and exclusive link port to connect
the Expansion CDU for linking CDUs on different power circuits together.
The Sentry Power Manger (SPM) is
capable of providing:
A central interface to access multiple network monitored sentry
power distribution units.
Global view of all Sentry devices and ability to view devices
based on temperature, humidity, current and device status.

The Smart Cabinet
Distribution Unit (CDU) provides reliable power distribution combinedwith
local and remote power monitoringand environmental monitoring via
IP. Use the network interface to view power, temperatureand humidity
levels via Web browser, orreceive SNMPbased alarms and email alerts
when conditions exceed defined thresholds. The Smart CDU family has
the capability to daisy chain units together which gives the ability
to use one IP address across different power circuits.
The Sentry Metered Cabinet Power
Distribution Unit (CDU) is a PDU with local LED input current monitoring,
which allows network engineers to utilize the CDUs True RMS Power
Monitor to precisely measure the current (in amps) that network devices
are drawing on the power circuit. As new servers and devices are added
to the power drop, the impact on the cumulative current draw can be
observed immediately. This allows the engineer to safely load each
circuit to its maximum allowable load capacity without the danger
of overloading the power circuit.
The Sentry Basic Cabinet Power Distribution
Unit (CDU) product family provides a simple solution where reliable
power distribution for equipment racks and other data center applications
is needed. Basic CDUs provide both power distribution and branch
circuit protection for the 30-Amp rated devices.
The Sentry
-48 VDC family of Intelligent PDU's verifies voltage at each power
input/outlet connection, provides real time recording of current draw
and offers environmental monitoring. Each power output terminal
is protected by a GMT or TPA fuse. There is a wide fuse capacity range
available.
When single-power equipment is the
only option, create power redundancy with a Fail-Safe Switch for the
equipment rack. Use the Fail-Safe PTXL to add power redundancy and
remote data center power control.
Combine remote power management
with console port access to remote servers, routers and network equipment
into a single enclosure and interface. Serial console access is the
only true universal management interface in the data center.
