The Avocent DSR Series Server Interface
Modules also referred to as KVM Terminators or dongles
are used in conjunction with Avocent’s DSR series KVM over IP switches.
The Server interface module connects to the targeted server’s keyboard,
video and mouse, then a CAT5 cable is connected to the
end of the Server Interface module and ran back to the KVM switch. Every
targeted server requires a Server Interface Modules.
